Plants and Herbs GOD's gifts to keep us feed and healthy.
In doing research about health, disease and herbal remedies I started to study high blood sugar, diabetes
and being over weight. I started learning about food, carbohydrates, and how the body gains and looses weight. I learned about Adkin's Diet and other diets that promise loss and gain in weight control.
I started doing research on how to deal with blood sugar and insulin. As I started to research blood sugar, and herbs that help you deal with high blood sugar I noticed that the herbs that help you deal with high blood sugar also help you deal with HIV-Aids - I found that interesting and then I started to research high blood sugar and HIV-Aids simultaneously - I was astonished learn the similarities between the symptoms......

What are the symptoms of diabetes?
People who think they might have diabetes must visit a physician for diagnosis. They might have SOME or NONE of the following symptoms:
- Frequent urination
- Excessive thirst
- Unexplained weight loss
- Extreme hunger
- Sudden vision changes
- Tingling or numbness in hands or feet
- Feeling very tired much of the time
- Very dry skin
- Sores that are slow to heal
- More infections than usual.
Nausea, vomiting, or stomach pains may accompany some of these symptoms in the abrupt onset of insulin-dependent diabetes, now called type 1 diabetes.
What are the signs and symptoms of HIV?
The only way to know if you're infected with HIV is to be tested. You can't rely on symptoms to know whether or not you're infected. Many people who are infected with HIV don't have any symptoms at all for 10 years or more.
The following may be warning signs of
advanced infection with HIV:
- Rapid weight loss;
- Dry cough;
- Night sweats or fever that keeps coming back;
- Feeling very tired for no reason;
- Swollen lymph glands in the armpits, groin, or neck;
- Diarrhea that lasts for more than a week;
- White spots on the tongue, in the mouth, or in the throat;
- Pneumonia (noo-MOH-nee-uh) (lung infection);
- Red, brown, pink, or purplish spots on or under the skin or inside the mouth, nose, or eyelids; and
- Memory loss, depression, and other neurological (noor-uh-LOG-ji-kuhl) (brain and spine) problems.
If you have any of these symptoms, don't assume that you're infected with HIV. Each of these symptoms can be related to other illnesses.

Here are some herbs and food that may be useful. But there are many more.
Cinnamon
The Indian Journal of Medical Research published in the year, 2000 a study that Cinnamomum cassia and Cardiospermum helicacabum which are cinnamon species, contain compounds that are effective extracts against HIV-1 and HIV-2 respectively. In another study, scientists at the Pune- based Indus Biotech claim that the dalchini ( cinnamon) plant has properties which can help keep HIV- infected people healthy by turning them into into HIV controllers. HIV controllers are people who don't develop AIDS even after carrying the virus for 10- 15 years. The scientists extracted a molecule, IND-02 from the plant, which is believed to prevent replication of HIV by protecting a crucial defence protein called APOBEC3G ( apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme, catalytic polypeptide- like 3G), produced by CD4 cells. The APOBEC3G neutralises the virusand since Virus Infectivity Factor (produced by HIV) damages APOBEC3G. IND-02 thus stops degradation of APOBEC3G and body's own cells are thus able to keep the virus under control. http://www.squidoo.com/cinnamon-for-hiv-treatment#module161190389
Researchers have been investigating a number of powerful natural agents that can help you stabilize your blood sugar, and once again, cinnamon has proven itself as a viable contender in the fight against diabetes, as the study in Diabetic Medicine reveals.(1)
One of cinnamon's most impressive health benefits is its ability to improve blood glucose control.
For example, just half a teaspoon of cinnamon a day has previously been shown to significantly reduce blood sugar levels, triglycerides, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and total cholesterol levels in people with type 2 diabetes. (2)
"Not only does cinnamon activate essential enzymes in the body thus stimulating the receptors in the cells so they will respond more efficiently to insulin, but it also inhibits the enzymes responsible for deactivating ... causing insulin resistance," writes David W Tanton in the book "Antidepressants, Antipsychotics, And Stimulants -- Dangerous Drugs on Trial."

Licorice
As it turns out, you really can overdose on candy—or, more precisely, black licorice.
Days before the biggest candy eating holiday of the year, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) encourages moderation if you enjoy snacking on the old fashioned favorite.
So, if you’re getting your stash ready for Halloween, here’s some advice from FDA:
If you’re 40 or older, eating 2 ounces of black licorice a day for at least two weeks could land you in the hospital with an irregular heart rhythm or arrhythmia.
FDA experts say black licorice contains the compound glycyrrhizin, which is the sweetening compound derived from licorice root. Glycyrrhizin can cause potassium levels in the body to fall. When that happens, some people experience abnormal heart rhythms, as well as high blood pressure, edema (swelling), lethargy, and congestive heart failure.
In the nucleus of each cell, a piece of machinery called the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR-gamma), regulates the use of blood sugar for energy, and converts excess blood sugar into fat storage. Current medication prescribed to people with diabetes typically targets this mechanism in an attempt to lower their blood sugar. Unfortunately, these drugs are also accompanied by common side effects that are frequently a barrier to their use, such as dizziness and nausea.

If you have enjoyed licorice root for its tummy soothing qualities—and even if you haven’t—you may be interested to know that a team of scientists have uncovered another benefit of this ancient herbal remedy. Licorice root has been shown to possess substances that can reduce blood sugar levels and offer other anti-diabetes advantages.
*Provided itself beneficial in research that did not involve people, the study could have been done in a test tube, petri dish or animals for Therapeutic use, Addison’s Disease, Arthritis, Asthma, Cataracts, Caries, Central Nervous System Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Colds, Congestion, Diabetes, Encephalitis, Flu, Gallbladder Problems, Hepatitis, Herpes, HIV, Indigestion, Kidney Disease, Lichen Planus, Lupus, Malaria, Overeating, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Prostate Enlargement (Benign), Retinopathy, Sore Throat, Thrush, Tuberculosis, Urinary Tract Infections, Vaginitis, Yeast Infections.
In 1962, Lolitkar and Rao extracted from the plant a substance, which they called charantin, which had hypoglycaemic effect on normal and diabetic rabbits.[25] Another principle, active only on diabetic rabbits, was isolated by Visarata and Ungsurungsie in 1981.[26] Bitter melon has been found to increase insulin sensitivity.[27] In 2007, a study by the Philippine Department of Health determined a daily dose of 100 mg per kilogram of body weight is comparable to 2.5 mg/kg of the antidiabetes drug glibenclamide taken twice per day.[28] Tablets of bitter melon extract are sold in the Philippines as a food supplement and exported to many countries.[28]
Antiviral
In Togo, the plant is traditionally used against viral diseases such as chickenpox and measles. Tests with leaf extracts have shown in vitro activity against the herpes simplex type 1 virus, apparently due to unidentified compounds other than the momordicins.[6]
Laboratory tests suggest compounds in bitter melon might be effective for treating HIV infection.[22] As most compounds isolated from bitter melon that impact HIV have either been proteins or lectins, neither of which are well-absorbed, it is unlikely that oral intake of bitter melon will slow HIV in infected people. Oral ingestion of bitter melon possibly could offset negative effects of anti-HIV drugs, if an in vitro study can be shown to be applicable to people.[23]
While type 2 diabetes is related to diet and lifestyle, type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that shuts down your body’s insulin production. But we are seeing good testimonies in coconut oil’s ability to control type 1 diabetes as well:
(NaturalNews) Coconut oil is an ancient super food that has been an essential component to many of the earth's healthiest cultures. Cultures that have consumed high amounts of coconut oil generally have not suffered with diabetes, as well as many other diseases. Unfortunately, as many of these people abandon their traditional ways of eating, they begin to suffer with diabetes, since coconut oil has been shown to protect people from this illness.

(NaturalNews) Emerging research on the widespread degenerative brain disease known as Alzheimer's suggests that this prevalent form of dementia is actually a type of diabetes. Published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, a recent study out of Rhode Island Hospital (RIH) confirms that Alzheimer's is marked by brain insulin resistance and corresponding inflammation, a condition that some researchers are now referring to as type-3 diabetes

Finding a safe and effective, yet affordable, treatment is the only way to bring relief to the millions who suffer from HIV/AIDS. Fortunately, researchers may have now found a potential solution to this problem: coconut oil. Although coconut oil may appear to be an unlikely hero, recent medical research shows that it holds great promise in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.....The drugs he was taking could not stop the progression of the disease. His body was covered with fungal infections and skin lesions, he was losing weight, and had repeated bouts of vomiting and diarrhea accompanied by fever, chronic fatigue, oral candidiasis, and various other infections including chronic pneumonia with a persistent cough. Skin infections covered his head, face, and body. His doctor diagnosed him with full-blown AIDS and told him to get his affairs in order.
VENUS FLY TRAP
Venus Flytrap Carnivora
One patient who used Carnivora extract was Ronald Asti, a person with AIDS who was suffering from ARC (AIDS-related complex). He traveled to Germany for treatment, and returned four months later, completely free of AIDS, his blood showing no signs of the HIV-1 antigen after multiple tests. http://www.thephillipdemarscancerfund.com/carnivora.htm

The first of these herbs is an amazing insect killer. The other sounds like kitty torture, but is actually a woody vine that grows to more than 100 feet as it attaches to and winds up the trees in the highland of the Peruvian rain forests. Teamed together, these two herbs combat some of the deadliest human diseases known. These wonder herbs are Venus’ Flytrap and Cat’s Claw (uña de gato). Research indicates that both of these plants have unique active constituents that assist in the body’s natural defense system.
In Germany, a pharmaceutical extract of Venus’ Flytrap called Carnivora is used in the treatment of chronic diseases, including most forms of cancer, ulcerative colitis, multiple sclerosis, all types of herpes infections, chronic arthritis, and almost any immune deficiency state, including AIDS. Carnivora is dispensed orally, by inhalation, or by injection. However, individuals cannot legally import Carnivora to the U.S. without first proving that they suffer from a life-threatening disease. Fortunately, fresh Venus’ Flytrap extract can be both purchased and used legally in the United States, though few people are aware of its uses.
In cases of cancer, Venus’ Flytrap is reported to work therapeutically to shrink solid tumors, and in fact works for any type of cancer except for blood abnormalities, such as leukemia. It is also noted to work best if the patient has not previously undergone chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Dr. Keller states that promising therapeutic results have been obtained in the treatment of: adult malignant tumors, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diabetes, eczema, psoriasis arthropathica, immune deficiency diseases (AIDS), chronic fatigue syndrome, certain autoimmune disorders, influenza, the common cold, and herpes infection. Dr. Kenner emphasized the latter with a stunning story:
